My name is Andi, and I live in Utah with my husband and toddler daughter. I love to travel!
When I was growing up, my family was fond of camping, boating, and taking road trips, and we spent many a summer doing so with the company of friends and family. Childhood is where I first learned to appreciate traveling, and my passion for it has only grown since then.
One thing my family did NOT do much of was flying. In fact, we never flew anywhere! I took my first airline trip when I was 18 and in college, a short hop from San Diego to Utah. The flight lasted all of maybe 2 hours, but I was hooked.
Since that first flight, I (along with my husband) have traveled both internationally and to many parts of the United States. Sometimes we fly, sometimes we drive, and sometimes we tour on a motorcycle. But no matter what the mode of transportation, I have found that I need to travel, and frequently. Something about experiencing new locations, cultures, smells, and foods makes me feel alive in a way that few other things can. My friends and colleagues joke that if I don't take some sort of trip every few months I may go crazy, and they're right!
In addition to traveling, I enjoy being a mom and a wife, cooking food from around the world, writing, reading, entertaining, drinking a good cup of coffee, and doing therapy with couples and families.
